Exulansis is my main OC project, it follows Ronnie, Sal, and Tether as their relationships and views on life develop while facing a rising cult and bargaining with gods, many of which seeming to enjoy throwing the trio into completley absurd situations, throwing them off their path.
Suddenly given divine powers and thrown to the forefront of his town’s clergy basically overnight, Ronnie—a skeptical and paranoid archivist—discovers a conspiracy spread by a growing cult to overthrow the gods themselves, and he is now caught in the middle of it.
With the often abstract guidance of his deity, Ronnie decides to leave home and meets Sal Davis, a withdrawn and gifted wanderer. The two are led to an eccentric collector of divine relics who has had one of his most prized possessions stolen, an item that is also crucial to the cult’s plan. The trio must learn to work with one another as they try to stop the cult and do damage control along the way, facing physical and mental tests, both as a group and as individuals.
